Kashiwagi Yuki (AKB48 / NGT48) shared her experiences and plans ahead with AKB48 while attending the TOKYO FM event at Waseda Business School in Tokyo as a special speaker on Saturday (23/9). In front of the students, she gave the material at an open seminar.
Yukirin, his familiar greeting, considers AKB48 as the gateway of success for young girls who want to fulfill their dreams as actresses, models, and others. “The entry of new members one by one, as well as the passing of the old members is an important circulation for a group to stay long lasting,” she said about the continuation of AKB48.
Being in AKB48 for 10 years, makes Yukirin have a wider experience. He claimed to want to provide that experience to his juniors now. “When a junior is in trouble, I want to give you advice on what I’m going through. I want to help them grow, ” she hoped.
“I can be like this because of the support of the fans. Although I can not repay their kindness, but I want to please my fans, such as providing entertainment during the concert, giving info on social media. I want to keep working for a lot of people like this, ” she added.
When asked about the graduation from the group, she replied, “The goodness given to AKB48 is felt by me, so as much as possible I want to contribute more to the group, and stay afloat as an AKB48 member much longer”.
After the talk, Yukirin continued the conversation with other lecturers, Professor Negoro Tatsuyuki and Professor Masakazu Sugiura. She also got the question what she wanted to do if later graduated from AKB48. Yukirin replied openly “Because I really like the concert, so want to keep standing on stage to entertain the audience later though as a solo artist”.
Finally, she was thrown a puzzling question, “If you have graduated someday, which one do you choose to still exist, AKB48 or you, Kashiwagi Yuki?”.
Confused Yukirin replied, “Well … both are important”. Yukirin wants AKB48 to exist, he wants to someday be able to say “Mama used to be in this group loh!” To his son in the future. She answered the secret question with a laugh that made the conversation feel relaxed.
