I've finally
Made this year's air conditioning debut.
And somen debut, too!
Have you done other summery things?
A few days ago
I went alone to Osaka to see
Lauv's live!
I was unhappy that I would be working
On the days of the Tokyo and Nagoya performances.
This was the first time I'd gone on a long journey to see a live.
The live was so, so great
I was mesmerized and clapped and clapped.
I'm so glad I went to Osaka...!
I'm still immersed in the lingering memories.
Going by myself, I could only watch alone,
But the person beside me, a girl about my own age, spoke to me:
"Are you by yourself? I am, too!"
We spoke just a bit after that.
During the live she said to me:
"Look over here"....
I was surprised and pleased, quite in a flutter!
I guess it's natural,
But even at other artists' lives, with people who like the same music
Even if you don't know them at all, it's easy to understand each other, eh ٩( 'ω' )و
That person was so nice,
But I ended up not even learning her name or age
And didn't even see her face that well....
It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
I hope I run into her at some other live.
I liked Lauv's live...
It was a lot of fun...
It was a really nice time!!!!

She says she'll post again. The time is now getting short. Neru is scheduled to graduate in July, after the last Kuroi Hitsuji handshake event, which comes on July 14th.
When Memi made a point of proudly telling us she went alone to the beach at Kamakura, I felt as if she was thinking of Neru's independent spirit. Now Neru makes a point of telling us she went alone to Osaka and I think she may have Memi's trip in mind. Not necessarily, but feels like a link.
Neru was on the early-evening show on NHK Nagasaki on Thursday. Here's a video of her appearance:
I look forward with anticipation and a bit of nervousness to what Neru will do next. I trust she has her future well planned.
Lauv is an American singer-songwriter, age 25, from San Francisco but now based in LA...despite the NYC setting of the video of his song I Like Me Better (...when I'm with you). One line of the song: "To be drunk and in love in New York City."
